About Silvercorp
Silvercorp is a Canadian company operating several low-cost, long-life silver mines in China. The Company first entered China in 2003, shortly after the 1997 Mineral Resource Law came into effect that enabled foreign mining companies to explore and mine in the country, to capitalize on its underexplored geological potential.
Since production began in 2006, our mines have produced more than 85 million ounces of silver and 1 billion pounds of lead & zinc, reaching 6.6 million ounces of silver in Fiscal 2023 alone. In Fiscal 2024, we expect to produce between 6.8 and 7.2 million ounces.
The Company is positioned as a major supplier of silver for China’s growing green energy sector for decades to come. We have measured and indicated silver resources of 210.2 million ounces, including proven and probable reserves of 114.9 million ounces. In addition, we have inferred resources of 126.3 million ounces.
